Wade Emmert disses the Grassroots

Republican Party of Texas Chairman Candidate Wade Emmert sent an e-mail to supporters recently; it contained this line:
Unfortunately, there are also those among us who seek to divide our Grand Old Party to pursue a more narrow vision. To them, we say we are stronger and more inspiring when we stand united than when we let petty differences divide us.
Translation: Don't y'all worry your pretty little heads about the actual policy outcomes your elected officials produce, just vote for the guy with an 'R' after his name (and can we have some money?!?)....

Emmert's letter also contained this:
For more than a decade, Dallas County has been ground-zero for efforts, expenditures, and organizing by the Democrat Party. Under my leadership, we have fought tooth-and-nail to dismantle the lock they held on all county offices. Without compromising our principles, we learned to fight and win against Democrats in tight races.
Because the Dallas County GOP didn't just blow one of the most winnable races of all time or anything....
