Bill Powers Loses to Baylor

"For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,"
2 Timothy 3:2

Darell K Royal Memorial Stadium -- Today, the University of Texas Football team proved their worth to the lame duck university administration.  They lost.  28 - 7.

While the Longhorn defense and quarterback Tyrone Swoops did their job, they couldn't overcome three years of superior recruiting from Baylor.  The Longhorn offense couldn't move the ball no matter how hard they tried.  This website is shocked to learn they managed north of 100 yards.

While the Texas offense struggled and the defense did their job until they got tired in the second half, Baylor's offense executed their job with cold-blooded efficiency.  We don't like it.  But still, they pulled it off.

Despite the failures of management, the 'Horns underlings kept the game competitive until the fourth quarter:

But at least we got some cool pictures of Charlie Strong:

Even though David Ash was in the right place:

That being said, Bertha rox:
